Weather by month
Hilton Head Island
South Carolina
Hilton Head keeps two speeds: a long soft shoulder season made for bikes and tee times, and a summer thick enough that you plan around the middle of the day.
The best time to come
April, May, and October are the island at its best — bikeable all day, warm enough for the beach, and short on summer traffic. Just know that the RBC Heritage fills every rental on the island in mid-April, so either build the trip around it or dodge that week entirely.
